Slow cooker (DETOX) Baked apples with dried fruit topping

Hey guys!!
Apples...I know... I am obsessed with apples but this particular recipe is very exciting as it is made in the slow cooker!!!! Making it in the slow cooker is so convenient. Knowing that no matter what you will be able to have "baked" apples and not having to baby sit them its the best feeling in the world.

I love my slow cooker and I just gotta say it makes detox or alkaline diet a little bit easier to handle. You can make things like "baked" sweet potatoes, "roasted" root vegetables and delicious desserts. The best part is that it can be done over a couple of hours or better yet while you sleep!!

Many people have asked me lately if it matters what brand of slow cooker you buy, the answer is NO. Just make sure you read the instructions for wash and use before turning it on. Some will require less time of cooking because of the brand. I have a "crock pot" and a "Hamilton beach" they work marvelously BOTH of them.

This recipe was a hit on my last cooking class students were saying that its the perfect dish for Thanks giving because its easy and you can brag about it.I love it so much I cannot wait to make it again.  The sweetness and the stickiness just makes my day because I looooooooove sweetness. The dried fruit topping can be altered this recipe is more like a suggestion just remember to make it so that you enjoy and yu give your taste buds a taste of what normal people call "regular foods" (I honestly don't know what that means but who ever says that should know).

Without further a due here is your recipe:

Tools:

Slow cooker/ measuring spoons and cups/ spatula/ stove/ skillet/ serving bowls

Enjoy and remember Sharing is Caring!!
